Day 1-4: Heart of Africa Lodge

Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to Heart of Africa Lodge.
Day 2: Breakfast at the Lodge. Cultural orientation and a short local excursion.
Day 3-4: Local excursions (details to be determined)

Day 5-9: Game Safari in Serengeti

Day 5: Breakfast and departure for Serengeti via Ngorongoro Crater. Afternoon game drive in central Serengeti.
Day 6: Full day of game-viewing in Serengeti, visiting the central plains and northern brushland.
Day 7: Game-viewing in Serengeti North, including the Mara River area.
Day 8: Continue game-viewing in Serengeti, moving back to the central region.
Day 9: Return to Arusha via Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an en-route morning game drive.

Day 10: Heart of Africa Lodge
Local excursion (details to be determined).

Day 11-14: Zanzibar Island

Day 11: Arrive in Zanzibar and transfer to Sharazad Wonders Boutique Hotel in Stone Town.
Day 12: Transfer to Sharazad Boutique Hotel in Jambiani Beach with a Spice Tour en route.
Day 13: Free day at Jambiani Beach with various activity options.
Day 14: Enjoy the morning at the beach before transferring to the airport for your return flight.

When to Visit Tanzania?

The best time to visit Tanzania depends on what you hope to experience. Generally, mid-June to October is East Africa’s dry season, providing ideal safari conditions. The best months to see the wildebeest migration are from June to early October. The calving season from late January to early March offers a chance to witness the wildebeest calving and predator sightings. April-May is regarded as the low season due to heavy rains.
